Biography

Ronald Moody (1900-1984) was a Jamaican-British sculptor. He is known for his wood carvings. Self-taught, he began sculpting with clay before moving to wood. His work is known for its stylisation, a form of figuration with symbolic or allegorical overtones. Moody received his dentistry degree King's College London in 1930.
