Biography

Abdoulaye Ndoye (1951- ) is a Sengalese artist working across painting, printmaking, and ceramics. He is interested in invented script that resembles African writing systems and Arabic calligraphy. The writings possess meaning known solely by Ndoye. The process of creating is of particular importance to him.  Ndoye attended the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels from 1976 to 1980.
