Biography

Sharon Norwood (1991-) is a Jamaican artist whose pieces deals with identity, race, gender, beauty and class, using the line as a way to explore complex relationships. Aiming to create work that disrupts the white gaze, Norwood works to develop her own understand in regards to the political and racial history of black people.
