On November 20, 2025, Miami MoCAAD is proud to join the community for Give Miami Day. This year the stakes are higher than ever.

With recent funding cuts from the State of Florida and budget reductions for the arts in Miami-Dade County, our mission to showcase, preserve, and celebrate African diaspora art is at serious risk.

Our goal is to raise $75,000 to keep this vital work alive, but we can't do it without you. The future of this art—African diaspora culture and heritage—depends on the support we get right now.

Without your help, we could lose the chance to share this powerful art with future generations. Time is running out. Will you stand with us today and make a difference?

Raise your virtual hand now—pledge your support and protect the future of African diaspora art. Together, we can reach our goal and secure its place in history.

What is Give Miami Day?

Give Miami Day is a powerful celebration of community generosity, bringing together people from all walks of life to shape a brighter future for all.

The Miami Foundation hosts Give Miami Day, which offers everyone a chance to support nonprofits with critically needed, flexible, unrestricted funds.

Due to budget cuts for the arts, Miami MoCAAD will not receive any funding from the State of Florida or Miami-Dade County for 2025.  Your support is more important than ever.
