Biography

Kachelle Knowles (1990- ) is a Bahamian artist working on paper that explores gender identity, cultural preservation, and its production, and social relations within the Black community. Black men are typically the subjects in her works.  Knowles received her bachelor’s degree in Illustration at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2017.
