Made in Texas brings together 16 Texas-born artists whose practices explore the state's complex cultural, social, political, and environmental conditions. Together, the works offer multiple perspectives on what it means to be shaped by—and to shape—the cultural landscape of Texas, highlighting the experiences and histories that exist beyond a single definition of the state.

Exhibition Description
Made in Texas examines Texas as a complex cultural force, considering regionalism, climate urgency, labor economies, migration, infrastructure, memory, and the politics of visibility. The exhibition features painting, works on paper, sculpture, and sound, bringing together artists whose practices explore representation, history, identity, and place. Curated by Phillip Townsend.
