Biography

Dominican-American artist Scherezade García creates immersive worlds where personal narrative intersects with collective memory. Working across installation, painting, printmaking, and sculpture, García weaves together devotional iconography, electric color palettes, and carefully chosen found materials—vintage suitcases that carry stories of departure, inner tubes that float between survival and play—to construct visual poems about displacement and belonging.
