Exhibition Description

The Armory Show 2025 brought together leading international contemporary and modern art galleries at New York’s Javits Center. El Apartamento participated with a focused presentation of works by Roberto Diago, including paintings from his Soroa series and sculptural works from Hombres libres, as well as Altar del Hombre. Diago’s presentation explored themes of identity, history, freedom, memory, and the Black experience through mixed-media painting, sculpture, and installation. The fair took place September 5–7, 2025, with a VIP preview on September 4.
