Sandra Brewster

Sandra Brewster (1973- ) is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist. Her early works focused on portraiture. Brewster's practice expanded to include drawings and metallic sculpture. Her practice explores identity and representation, particularly emphasizing Black identity within the Caribbean diaspora.  Brewster received her BFA in Painting and Drawing from York University in 1997. She received her Masters of Visual Studies - Studio from the University of Toronto in 2017.
