Rènold Laurent is a Haitian painter. His works are rooted in an imagined dialogue with her audience and between mixed media, cultural history, the present, and our collective future. It is characterized by the duality of abstraction and representation, using geometric and natural shapes, different textures, and a bright and expressive palette. Laurent considers abstract painting the most expressive way to explore the extraordinary powers of the imagination.
