Bob Thompson (1937-1966) was a figurative artist who in his short artistic career created vibrant, exaggerated masterpieces that exuded spontaneity in the midst of the silhouettes and natural aspects of his portraits. Taking inspiration from his love of various cultures, more specifically European culture, Thompson created pieces still appreciated today with his work being exhibited more recently in New York.
