El Pasado Mío / My Own Past examines Afro-Cuban art from the 1820s to the present, bringing together works by 43 Afrodescendant Cuban artists across painting, sculpture, photography, video, and mixed media. The exhibition explores the historical, political, and social contexts shaping Cuban art and includes works by Juan Roberto Diago alongside internationally recognized and underrepresented artists.
