Biography
Daniel Morel, born in Haiti in 1951, is an acclaimed photojournalist known for documenting Haiti’s social and political events for over 20 years. He gained international recognition for his powerful images of the 2010 Haiti earthquake. His work has appeared in major outlets like The New York Times and Vanity Fair, earning him prestigious awards. Morel has also co-produced documentaries exploring Haiti's history and culture, and remains committed to truthful storytelling through photography.
